Garda Trentino, May 9, 2013

On Lake Garda today, 16 knots wind was blowing to celebrate the second racing day of “Garda Trentino Olympic Week 2013”.

A perfect sunny day for racing thanks to the actors of this sport event, the 2013 World top sailors.

All scheduled races have been easily sailed as per organization plan except for FINN, which started earlier, at 10:00 a.m., in order to sail 2 races in the morning. Two more races in the afternoon on Malcesine course permitted the FINN class to achieve the scheduled target.

All other classes competing in this second day of the “Garda Trentino Olympic Week” had the first warning signal at 12.00.
Many world top sailors grabbed the top area of the provisional scoring list.
In LASER, where n.102 sailors have been split in two fleets, we find Tom Burton in first position after finishing 1, 2 and 7 in the three races of today.
